Christo Morse is a renowned First Assistant Director, Producer and
member of the Directors Guild of America. This past year, Morse
completed The Duffer Brother’s STRANGER THINGS, Halina Reijn’s
BABY GIRL, Bill Condon’s KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN. His work
(across all 4 seasons) of the hit HBO series SUCCESSION has garnered
him a DGA award win and multiple DGA nominations due to his integral
role as a filmmaker on the series which received accolades including 19
Emmy awards, 9 Golden Globes, and has achieved nearly 900 million
dollars in revenue.

Raised in Stockbridge, Mass, Christo possessed a competitive spirit and
drive toward excellence at an early age. Christo became a top, Nationally
ranked USSA ski racer by the age of 16 leading him to compete at the
University of Colorado, Boulder where he earned his Bachelor’s of the
Arts/Sciences degree. Christo also raced at the International FIS level,
broadening his worldview while living in Switzerland, Italy and Austria.

Christo’s portfolio of work continued to soar with acclaimed series
such as SUCCESSION, MASTER OF NONE, and HOUSE OF
CARDS, as well as films including the Academy-Award-winning
SPOTLIGHT and the soon to be released KISS OF THE SPIDER
WOMAN (directed by Oscar-winning director BILL CONDON).

Christo has experience filming in over a dozen countries and his
exceptional contributions have earned him industry-wide recognition.
Currently, with multiple film and tv projects in creative development,
Christo’s filmmaking passion has evolved into the role of executive
producing and directing.

After college, Christo returned to the East Coast and decided to channel this same passion he felt for athletics into his
career as a young filmmaker, beginning with the opportunity to join the production team on the film adaptation of
GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS. His dedication to sports has been recognized by his honorary membership in the
prestigious Hobey Baker Committee, which honors character and excellence in collegiate hockey. Following his early
Assistant Director work in the 1990s Morse gained significant recognition as producer and assistant director on the
HBO comedy series FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS and AMERICAN GANGSTER.
